My personal experience with suicide is very limited, thankfully. But with that said, I still understand the effects that it can have on friends, family, and communities. Death is a powerful thing. It makes you view the world differently, and question everything. When people make the choice to die, they are hurting on the inside. They already see the world differently and they are already asking why. I am a believer that suicide is never the answer. There are resources and outlets that will help. If you are willing to talk, there will always be someone willing to answer. Finding hope and redirection are more important than escaping all fears. In the majority of cases, suicide victims show at least one warning sign. To me this means we need to be aware of these signs, and not take any warning lightly. Each and every soul on the planet is deserving of a happy and healthy life. We cannot let anyone take that away from themselves. It is up to the friends, family, and communities to bring awareness to the topic and to find a solution.
